Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of I'll Circle Back (the "app") and this website. The app is made by Desert Gate Holdings ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Apple's standard license

The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add to it. If they conflict, the standard EULA applies.

Not legal advice

The app helps you keep information about a problem in one place, set reminders and write emails and letters. It doesn't give legal advice, and we aren't a law firm. Using the app, its templates or its AI add-on doesn't create a lawyer-client relationship with anyone. Letter and email templates and deadline presets are general starting points. Deadlines and rules vary, so check the dates on your own notices and documents. For advice about your situation, talk to a lawyer or a legal aid office.

Transcripts and AI suggestions may be wrong

Transcripts are made automatically and may not be 100% accurate. Where it matters, listen to the recording. AI suggestions, answers and drafts can be incomplete or wrong. Read and check everything before you rely on it or send it. You decide what to do, and what you send is your responsibility.

Recording laws are your responsibility

Some places require everyone in a conversation to agree before it's recorded. You're responsible for knowing and following the recording and consent laws that apply to you and to the people you record. This includes recordings made in the app and recordings made with your iPhone's built-in call recording that you add to the app.

Your information and your copies

Your cases belong to you. We don't receive them. You choose where they're kept, and you're responsible for keeping copies you need. If you choose "This iPhone only", your cases aren't in any backup and are lost if your phone is lost, unless you've exported them. File fingerprints show whether a file has changed since it was saved. We can't promise how any person, company, court or agency will treat them.

The AI add-on

The AI add-on is optional. You can use it with a subscription bought in the app, or with your own Anthropic API key.

Subscription

• The subscription is a monthly auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• It renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

Your own API key

If you use your own Anthropic API key, your use is also under your agreement with Anthropic, and you're responsible for your Anthropic account, its charges and keeping your key safe.

Using the app responsibly

Use the app only for lawful purposes. Don't use it to harass anyone, or to record or collect information about people in ways the law doesn't allow.

No warranty

The app and this website are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the app will be free of errors, that it will keep your information safe from every kind of loss, or that it will meet a particular need.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, money or opportunities, that come from using or being unable to use the app, its templates, transcripts or AI add-on, or this website.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.
