For the things that drag on

Some problems take weeks of calls, letters and waiting. Each one gets its own case, and everything about it stays together.

  • A bill your insurance already paidThe bill, the explanation of benefits, every call about it.
  • A toll or ticket you're disputingThe notice, your photos, the dates that matter.
  • A debt collectorTheir letters, your replies, and the deadline to ask them to verify the debt.
  • A car accidentPhotos from the scene, the other driver, the claim, the repair.
  • A refund you were promisedThe receipt, the chat, who promised it and when.
  • A landlord who won't make repairsPhotos of the problem, your requests, their answers.

Everything in the case

Add what you have as it happens. When someone asks "do you have that?", you will.

Add anything

Photos, screenshots and videos. The camera. Paper documents, scanned to PDF. Any file, like PDFs, emails saved as .eml, and audio. Emails pasted in, and notes.

Log every call

Who you spoke to, their number, when, how long, the reference number, and what was said. Next time, you can say exactly who told you what.

Record and transcribe

Record in the app, and it keeps going when the screen locks. Recordings are transcribed on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded.

Share in from other apps

Send things straight to a case from Photos, Files, Voice Memos and Notes. From Mail, use Print, then Share.

Reminders and deadlines

"I need to" for your own to-dos. "Waiting on them" for when they said they'd get back to you. Deadlines, with extra reminders days before.

Emails and letters

Start from a template, send through Mail with the case's files attached, or make a printable PDF letter for certified mail. Sent emails are saved to the case.

The amount in question

Keep track of how much is at stake in each case. Case types cover bills, collections, tickets and tolls, insurance, medical, accidents, home, landlords, work, refunds, government and legal.

Export a case

One .zip with a readable Case report PDF (timeline, people, follow-ups and pictures), every original file named by date, and a data file to restore from.

A fingerprint for each file

When a file is saved, the app records its SHA-256 fingerprint. If anyone asks, you can show the file hasn't been changed since.

About phone calls

iPhone doesn't let apps record phone calls. Instead, use the call recording built into the Phone app. It announces itself to everyone on the call, and the recording is saved to Notes. Then share it from Notes into your case, where it's transcribed on your iPhone.

Some places require everyone's permission before a call is recorded. Check the rules where you and the other person are.

Letter and email templates

Bill already paid. Ask a collector to verify a debt. Stop contact. Dispute a toll or ticket. Insurance appeal. Refund. Ask for an itemized bill. Follow-up.

Common deadlines, ready to add

For example, 30 days to ask a debt collector to verify a debt. Deadlines vary, so always check the date on your own notice.

Transcripts can be wrong

Every transcript says it may not be 100% accurate. Where it matters, listen to the recording itself.

You choose where your cases are kept

The first time you open the app, it asks. Each choice is explained in plain words, and you can change it later.

iPhone + iCloud Drive Recommended

A full copy of every case goes to your iCloud Drive, where you can see it in the Files app. Hidden cases go to a part of iCloud the Files app doesn't show.

New phone? Restore your cases from iCloud Drive.

iPhone + iPhone backup

Your cases are only on your phone, and they're included in your iCloud or computer backup.

New phone? They come back when you restore that backup.

This iPhone only

Left out of every backup. The most private choice, and the easiest to lose. You'll need to tick "I understand" before you choose it.

New phone? Only what you've exported comes with you.

Export everything, any time

Export all your cases to one .zip whenever you like, and restore from it later.

Private by default

These are your problems, and they're nobody else's business. We built it so we never see them.

  • No account. Open the app and start a case.
  • No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Not in the app, not on this site.
  • We never receive your cases. They stay on your iPhone and in the storage you choose.
  • Face ID or passcode lock. And a cover in the app switcher, so nobody glances at a case.
  • Hidden cases. Keep a case out of sight in the app.
  • Discreet reminders. Reminders never show a hidden case's name.

An AI helper, if you want one

The app works fully without it. If you'd like a second pair of eyes on a case, the AI add-on is optional.

What it does

  • Looks over a case and suggests next steps, missing evidence and deadlines to watch.
  • "Ask AI": pick a case and ask questions about it.
  • Drafts emails and letters for you to check and send.

You see what's sent

Nothing is sent until you tap, after a screen shows exactly what will go. You can leave out names, phone numbers and email addresses.

It sends the case's text: notes, emails, call logs, transcripts and dates. Never photos, recordings or files.

Two ways to use it

A monthly subscription through Apple. Requests go through our small relay server to Anthropic, and aren't stored.

Your own Anthropic API key. Requests go straight from your phone to Anthropic.

Not legal advice

The AI can be wrong, and it isn't a lawyer. Treat what it suggests as a starting point, and check anything important yourself.

Questions

More answers on the support page.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start a case.

Can the app record my phone calls?

No. iPhone doesn't let apps record calls. Use the call recording built into the Phone app instead. It announces itself to everyone on the call and saves the recording to Notes. Then share it from Notes into your case.

Where are my cases kept?

On your iPhone, and wherever else you choose on first launch: a full copy in your iCloud Drive (recommended), your iPhone backup, or this iPhone only. We never receive them.

What happens if I lose my phone?

With iCloud Drive, restore your cases on the new phone. With iPhone backup, they come back when you restore that backup. With "This iPhone only", only what you've exported can be restored, so export often.

How accurate are the transcripts?

Transcripts can have mistakes, and every transcript says it may not be 100% accurate. Where it matters, listen to the recording.

What does the file fingerprint do?

When a file is saved, the app records its SHA-256 fingerprint, a code that changes if even one bit of the file changes. You can use it to show a file is the same as when you saved it.

Does the AI see my photos or recordings?

No. It only gets the case's text (notes, emails, call logs, transcripts and dates), only when you tap, and only after you've seen exactly what will be sent.

Is this legal advice?

No. The app helps you keep things organized and write things down. It isn't a lawyer, and neither is the AI. For legal questions, talk to a lawyer or a legal aid office.
